Greg and I went skiing today to take a break from the ridiculous amount of work we’ve both been doing. We managed to catch a really gorgeous day at Crystal Mountain — and I confirmed that I’ve definitely improved since I was last there… it was nice to have some more direct positive reinforcement than grad school tends to provide. :)
The only reason I’m even posting this is because of the photos I took. I didn’t understand what people’s obsession is with mountains until I lived here; I get it now.
Now back to my regularly scheduled (slightly under) two more weeks of hard work, and then vacation. :)
Dir ist ja wohl klar, dass der Papa und ich euch das naechste Mal im Winter besuchen, damit wir auch beim Crystal Mountain skifahren koennen. Bin richtig neidisch, habe Berge schon immer geliebt!
