I finally pulled some recent pictures from my camera (a Canon Rebel XS that I bought myself for Christmas and really love) and it turns out I had some nice ones of our kittens. The striped one is Tony (Antoine) and the black one (a girl) is Fidget.
We got these guys from Meow Rescue in Kirkland in April. If you live in the Seattle area and are looking to adopt a cat, I would recommend them. Fidget and Tony came out of a foster home at 15 weeks, and they are the most well-socialized and sweet cats I’ve ever met. (They had another brother and I really hope he’s in a happy home too.)
Fidget lives up to her name, and she’s the more demanding of the two. She can’t sit still and cuddle, she has to be grooming and kneading (us or Tony). She meows at our bedroom door every morning, and she whines at us regularly to turn on the faucet in the second bathroom, where their litter box is. She also likes to be held on her back like a baby. Tony is more mellow and a really consistent lap cat (more like chest cat), but can be quite mischievous sometimes–like when he sprints into our bedroom through the briefly opened door and burrows deeper into the covers as we chase him. They’re both super super sweet: they let us trim their claws like they enjoy it, and they’ve learned from wrestling with each other how far is too far with claws and teeth. I’ve only heard Fidget hiss two times (and Tony never), once at a blanket she was wrestling with, and once the first time she encountered the faucet water. They love each other and I’m so glad they’re together.

OMG your cats are SOOOOOOOO cute!!!!!1!!1one
Nice Couple. Antoine seems peaceful. Fidget looks beautiful but not easy going.
